El Letters [they/them] is a visual artist and student studying Photography at Ulster University, they have been apart of two group exhibitions 'State Of Mind' (2024) with the UU photography society and 'Amalgamation' (2025) with Ulster University, taking part in curation in 'Amalgamation' (2025). Their work primarily focuses on the inner workings of the mind, exploring darker subjects like nightmares and narcissistic abuse but also spreading awareness on their own physical condition fibromyalgia. Their main focus is to show the truth on these subjects no matter how dark or uncomfortable they may seem, art is supposed to make the comfortable uncomfortable.
Their process changes quite frequently depending on the project they make having experimented with video, audio, drawn images projected onto themselves, dark and wet conditions as well as brightly coloured lights, although projection is the most interesting to El as of 2026.
